Forge is an Affiliate Writer of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association  (SFWA).

In 2025, Forge placed first in the NYC Midnight Short Story Challenge, and in 2026, won the inaugural year of the NYC Midnight Scary Story Challenge.
